First Welterweight Title Defense Announced – July 15 in Cleveland!

The Welterweight Championship will be defended for the first time on Saturday, July 15 at Turners Hall in Cleveland, OH as part of Premier Championship Wrestling’s “Powder Keg” live event, as the first-ever Welterweight Champion Ace Perry defends against the controversial and outspoken Gregory Iron!

Ace survived a challenging field of 16 contenders to emerge as the inaugural titleholder live on FITE (available on DVD or VOD now at WelterweightWrestling.com). Ace’s grit, work ethic, and unwavering resiliency have been staples of his matches both in the area and out. Capturing the Welterweight Championship was the results of months of hard work in the Cleveland area, and years of hard work across the country.

Iron, however, has a different story. A man who trained in, and wrestled his very first match at, Turners Hall, Greg knows the walls of that historic venue as well as anyone. Iron wasn’t a part of the inaugural Welterweight Wrestling event, and has let it be known to management he took it as a personal insult. Whether it be his outspoken mouth, unique fashion sense, or propensity to enrage anyone who crosses his path that he feels is worthy of ridicule, Iron is often himself the center of attention regardless of your opinion of him. Can he make himself the center of the Welterweight Title picture with a victory over one of the hardest working athletes in Premier Championship Wrestling today?

Reserve your tickets to this event now at Joe-Dombrowski.com and join us on Saturday, July 15 at 7pm for “Powder Keg”!
